Do not be ALARMED!                   Let us keep a perspective on things!

CASH in cars is obviously the target of those who would wish to STEAL this from you!

WHAT CAN YOU DO IN THE EVENT OF BEING ACCOSTED FOR YOUR CASH?

What steps can YOU TAKE to  reduce the amount of ANY LOSS?

IF YOU ARE ABLE, CALL X-RAY at the time you suspect a POTENTIAL ATTACK

1.    DO NOT DISUSS or ADMIT to passengers how long you have been working.

2.    If someone asks how business is, suggest you have just started work or something similar. (Indicating you are likely to have little cash on you).

3.    DO NOT carry LARGE QUANTITIES of CASH inside the passenger compartment of your car. Either bank your cash as you acquire it, or keep this in a separate bag or similar in the BOOT of your car.

4.   Keep a small amount of cash in a SEPARATE bag to that which you normally use. Should someone demand your cash, hand over the THIS bag, not the one you normally use. (Difficult if you use a waist pouch). OR keep little money in you waist pouch, by transferring money to another bag.

5.    ACCEPTING PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD   >>>> See SUPPLIERS

        REDUCES the amount of cash you carry

        REDUCES loss of cash in any attack

        COULD REDUCE the amount of runners you have

        CONVENIENCE for many of your customers

        Credit Card Readers are an excellent way of REDUCING the amount of cash that you hold. It also reduces wasted time for some customers who would use this as an excuse to get out of your car to do a runner

KEEPING A PERSPECTIVE ON THINGS!

The likely-hood of an attack is very small, however, by following the above guide lines will hopefully, keep you from sustaining serious injury, and from loosing any large amounts of money.
